Non-Motorway road schemes completed 1973-2000 This is a list derived from the booklet "A History of Roads Service 1973 to 2006". I will not be providing any more details on these schemes, but they are included here for completeness. 1973 is when Roads Service was formed. Prior to this date, many different bodies were responsible for roads. For motorways constructed prior to 2000, see the motorways section of the site, which gives more details on these particular projects.

Unless otherwise stated, this is a list derived from the booklet "The History of Ulster's Roads", by T Jackson McCormick, and published in 1991. This is NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST, but merely examples of schemes that were completed prior to the establishment of Roads Service in 1973.
