Completed New Road Schemes

This page is divided into three sections, giving details of schemes completed:

Details of motorway construction are dealt with separately. See here.

Road schemes completed since January 2000

This list gives all new road schemes completed in Northern Ireland since January 2000. It does not list all road improvements, but rather schemes where an entirely new road was built, or where a major change was made to an existing road or junction. I don't list overtaking lane schemes here, basically because there are too many to list! To help you find schemes in your area a indicates Greater Belfast and Lisburn, a for counties Armagh & Down, a for counties Tyrone & Fermanagh and a for counties Londonderry & Antrim.

Prior to this date, many different bodies were responsible for roads.
